A Steam System Assessment entails a 'walkthrough' of your facility evaluating steam generation, distribution and processes as to whether the appropriate piping and equipment is in place.  Having a correctly engineered steam system including proper sizing of all components is critical to the overall performance of the steam system.  A written report including all findings and recommendations is provided.

 

A Steam System Engineered Audit is a comprehensive analysis of the complete steam system including steam generation/distribution, condensate return systems, heat recovery systems, hot water systems and HVAC systems.  Utility cost data is collected and the actual cost of steam is calculated.  Each application in the steam system is evaluated for performance.  A comprehensive report including all data gathered, findings, development of optimization projects with estimated cost, energy / CO2 savings and payback periods. 

 

A Steam System Evaluation will focus on a specific process or application. Usually, our customers have identified an issue and would like to do a thorough diagnostic to seek the cause of what is affecting that process.  After reviewing the process, we prepare a report outlining the causes and effects of the issue. We detail what needs to be changes or replaced to get the application running as efficiently as possible while reducing the maintenance necessary to keep it running.
